Purchase & Return Policy

1. CONSCIOUS & SUSTAINABLE ONLINE SHOPPING
At Eclectic Soul Expressions, sustainability is a core value. In contrast to larger corporations that allow customers to order items for size or color checks, and then facilitate returns, I, as a small business owner, follow a different approach. Processing returns requires a lot of time, money, and energy. Unfortunately, this is far from sustainable and also complex. Therefore, I recommend thoroughly reviewing the return policy thoroughly before making a purchase.

If you have any reservations about a product during the purchase process, my initial advice is to reach out to me. Feel free to ask any questions or express concerns at sylvia@eclecticsoul.nl before finalizing your purchase. And if you’re unsure about whether you want the product at all, my suggestion is simple: when in doubt, hold off.

  1. CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
    You may cancel your order as long as your order hasn’t been processed yet. But please note that I aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible! This means that it is possible for your order to be processed within 30 minutes after you’ve placed the order.

    When the order has already been processed, you are free to return your items within 14 days after receiving the order, you can do this by sending an e-mail to Sylvia@EclecticSoul.nl

    You must obtain written authorisation from Eclectic Soul Expressions prior to returning goods. You must notify me within 14 days of your intention to return/exchange with another 14 days to return the item(s).

    3. EXCHANGES & RETURNS
    If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, I offer you the opportunity to exchange the item according to your legal right of return within 14 days of receiving it for another item in my webshop, a gift voucher/code, or a refund.

The digital products I offer are personalised services. These are therefore exempt from exchange or return.

Please keep in mind that I can only accept returns for items* that are unused, unopened, and undamaged, still in their original packaging. If the product or packaging is more damaged than necessary, there may be a depreciation charge. Therefore, please take care in packaging the product securely when initiating a return.

*Note that, due to food hygiene regulations, opened and unsealed food products are NOT eligible for exchange or return. Some products, such as herbs in glass jars, are unsealed, I can not check if the product has been touched or not, this is why these are exempt from exchange & return.

  1. HOW RETURNS WORK
  • You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it.
  • Send an e-mail to Sylvia@EclecticSoul.nl to request a return.
  • Then wait for your request to be approved or denied by Eclectic Soul Expressions.
  • After cancellation, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.
  • If you choose to exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to me in its original condition and packaging, with all provided accessories.
  • Always send the package with a tracking code and provide this code to me. You are responsible for the return shipment, and I recommend sending it with “signature on delivery” for added assurance.
  • The order amount will be credited, excluding the original shipping costs paid to the shipping company. And possibly excluding a depreciation charge if the product has lost value due to damage.
  • I will refund the amount owed within 14 days of receiving your return.
  • Do you prefer an exchange, a gift voucher/code, or a refund? Let me know in your return request. If you opt for a refund, the amount will be returned in the same manner as your original payment (e.g., via iDEAL).

Tip: In the spirit of energy conservation and sustainability, you also have the option to gift the product or resell it to a friend, family member, or acquaintance, which will save you from incurring double shipping costs and helps to spread joy to those around you.
