I aim to process and dispatch orders within 48 hours during weekdays. When it’s sent out, it can take up to 2 days to arrive to your door if you live in The Netherlands. It will take longer for the rest of Europe. This, of course, depends on the day and time the order was placed and the opening & closing time of the parcel service point. I am a small business and I pack every order with a great deal of thought and attention. I try my very best to dispatch your order as soon as possible. But please be aware that it may take longer.

You may cancel your order as long as your order hasn’t been processed yet. But please note that I aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible! This means that it is possible for your order to be processed within 30 minutes after you’ve placed the order.

If the order has already been processed, you are free to return your items within 14 days after receiving the order. 

You must obtain written authorisation from Eclectic Soul Expressions prior to returning goods. You must notify me within 14 days of your intention to return/exchange, with another 14 days to return the item(s).

At Eclectic Soul Expressions, sustainability is a core value. In contrast to larger corporations that allow customers to order items for size or color checks, and then facilitate returns, I, as a small business owner, follow a different approach. Processing returns requires a lot of time, money, and energy. Unfortunately, this is far from sustainable and also complex. Therefore, I recommend thoroughly reviewing the Purchase & Return Policy before making a purchase.

If you have any reservations about a product during the purchase process, my initial advice is to reach out to me. Feel free to ask any questions or express concerns at sylvia@eclecticsoul.nl before finalizing your purchase. And if you’re unsure about whether you want the product at all, my suggestion is simple: when in doubt, hold off.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, I offer you the opportunity to exchange the item according to your legal right of return within 14 days of receiving it for another item in my webshop, a gift voucher/code, or a refund.

Please keep in mind that I can only accept returns for items* that are unused, unopened, and undamaged, still in their original packaging. If the product or packaging is more damaged than necessary, there may be a depreciation charge. Therefore, please take care in packaging the product securely when initiating a return.

*Note that, due to food hygiene regulations, opened and unsealed food products are NOT eligible for exchange or return. Some products, such as herbs in glass jars, are unsealed, I can not check if the product has been touched or not, this is why these are exempt from exchange & return.
The digital products I provide are a personalised service. It is therefore not possible to cancel or return these products.

How Returns Work:

  • You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it.
  • Send me an e-mail at Sylvia@EclecticSoul.nl with your request.
  • Then wait for your request to be approved or denied by Eclectic Soul Expressions.
  • After cancellation, you have an additional 14 days to return the product*.
  • If you choose to exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to me in its original condition and packaging, with all provided accessories.
  • Always send the package with a tracking code and provide this code to me. You are responsible for the return shipment, and I recommend sending it with “signature on delivery” for added assurance.
  • The order amount will be credited, excluding the original shipping costs paid to the shipping company. And possibly excluding a depreciation charge if the product has lost value due to damage.
  • I will refund the amount owed within 14 days of receiving your return.
  • Do you prefer an exchange, a gift voucher/code, or a refund? Let me know in your return request. If you opt for a refund, the amount will be returned in the same manner as your original payment (e.g., via iDEAL).

*Note that, due to food hygiene regulations, opened and unsealed food products are NOT eligible for exchange or return. Some products, such as herbs in glass jars, are unsealed, I can not check if the product has been touched or not, this is why these are exempt from exchange & return.

Herbal products: Unfortunately herbs need to be packaged in either plastic or glass to keep them fresh, if they are only packaged in paper bags, they will not keep well. This is why herbs in packaging with a paper outer layer also have a plastic inner-lining. Glass jars are more expensive, this makes the product more expensive and unaffordable for some people. This is why I aim to have both options available in my webshop.

Shipping Packaging: I want to package your orders as sustainably as possible, however, I am also big on recycling packaging materials. I still have packaging materials from my previous webshop that I had purchased through a Marketplace and it’s worse for the environment to throw this all away without using it. The plastic bags I use for clothing items have been recycled and can be recycled again so I encourage you to do so or to re-use them if you have to ship something yourself. I also like to re-use packaging materials I receive from other webshops. Giving them a second life instead of throwing them away after 1 shipment.

My goal is to exclusively utilize sustainable packaging materials in the future. However, this is not currently feasible. I am especially excited about the prospect of transitioning to packaging materials crafted from hemp fiber instead of plastic or cardboard. Unfortunately, these alternatives are not accessible to me at this time.

All items are shipped from Nijkerk, The Netherlands.

Yes, I do ship abroad. Shipping costs vary per country and please be aware that you can expect extra import taxes in your home country if you live outside of Europe.

Eclectic Soul Expressions doesn’t have a physical store or showroom. I do occasionally set up a booth at (spiritual) fairs across the country.
