At Eclectic Soul Expressions, I guide and hold sacred space for Ecstatic Dance Ceremonies. It is a conscious and free form dance experience that supports deep embodiment, emotional release and soul level connection. As your ceremony leader, I blend my experience as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer with spiritual sensitivity, creating powerful rituals that invite you into your fullest expression.
My Journey: From Stage to Ceremony
I began my path in the world of dance as a trained performer, dancing on stage and touring professionally. Over the years, I transitioned into teaching and choreography, working closely with many different groups to help them find beauty, strength and meaning through movement. This background taught me more than technique. I learned discipline, creative flow and how to lead with both precision and presence.
As I deepened my spiritual exploration, I realized that dance could be more than performance. It could be medicine. Ecstatic Dance became my way of integrating the physical, emotional and energetic through rhythm, breath and intention. Drawing on my movement training and my intuitive sense as a ritual holder, I now guide dance experiences that are as much about inner transformation as they are about celebration.
Reconnect with Your Body
In our busy modern lives we often live in our heads instead of in our bodies. Ecstatic Dance invites you to come home to your physical being. You feel every bone, muscle and nerve and you remember the aliveness of your body.
Release What No Longer Serves You
Movement is a powerful way to release stuck energy, old emotional patterns and tension held in the body. Through free form dance you can express grief, joy, anger or tenderness in a nonverbal and embodied way.
Cultivate Presence and Grounding
Dancing with intention brings you fully into the present moment. Through the music, the movement and the supportive container, you land in your body and build a foundation from which you can access deeper creativity and awareness.
Open to Spiritual Connection
In a ceremonial setting, dance becomes a bridge between you and your soul, between you and others in the circle, and between you and the greater mystery. It becomes a sacred act rather than simple recreation. Your heart opens and your spirit speaks.
Heal and Transform
Embodied movement can support healing on many levels. It restores flow, softens tension and helps re pattern how you move through life. Conscious movement allows access to somatic healing, emotional release and energetic alignment.
What to Expect in an Ecstatic Dance Ceremony
A sacred and held container. I create a safe space rooted in respect, care and deep compassion.
Intention setting. We begin with a short grounding ritual such as a guided meditation, breathwork or a moment of reflection to arrive fully in the ceremony.
Music and Flow.
The sound journey is carefully curated to support gentle opening, full expression and grounding integration. Different musical atmospheres are woven together to take you on a complete journey.
Free Dance.
You are invited to move in any way your body desires. There is no choreography and no right or wrong. Only honest expression.
Integration. The ceremony ends with practices that help you land, reflect and integrate. This may include journaling, sharing or quiet rest.

If you are calling in embodiment, presence and soulful connection, I welcome you into one of my Ecstatic Dance Ceremonies. Let us move, release, celebrate and awaken together.
I started dancing from a very young age.
It began in the late 80's/early 90's when I started copying dance moves I saw on the television. Luckily my father recored some of these moves.
I started taking dance classes around the age of 7 and quit when I turned 12 because the classes were too easy and due to my age I wasn't allowed to dance in the older groups.
When I was 16 years old I discovered HipHop New Style and my father drove me to danceclasses in Amsterdam every single week. This is where my dance career started taking off quickly! At 17 years old I started teaching my first dance classes. I started dancing in the demo team and in the years following dance was all I did besides my studies. I did everything from choreographing shows, to tv and music video performances, participating in dance competitions, working as a judge for dance competitions and teaching weekly HipHop New Style classes in my hometown Amersfoort.
At age 24 I was entering my graduation year at Utrecht School of the Arts (Image & Media Technology) and I was unable to do both dance and finish my studies. So I made the dumbest decistion in my life... I quit dance.
This caused me to have an extremly heavy burnout at the age of 25 which led me towards a very spiritually focused and health conscious life. When I entered my 30's I slowly started to pick up dancing again to integrate both movement, health and spirituality.
With Salsa classes (learning to surrender instead of control) and Afro House classes (grounding and health) I eventually discovered Ecstatic Dance at the age of 34 and the rest is history.
I now have an extensive background in dance, sharp intuition spiritual growth and life experience to help guide others.
